Step 2 — Read-only access is established. You provide SSH access with read-only permissions. AV Services documents exactly what access is being used before connecting. No root access is required for the audit — a read-only user account is sufficient.

Step 3 — The audit runs. The audit script runs on your server. It collects system state information — patch levels, running services, disk usage, cron job status, open ports, backup timestamps. It makes no changes. Your server continues running normally throughout.

Step 4 — You receive the report. Within five business days, a written report is delivered by email. The report covers every finding, prioritised by severity, with plain English explanations of what each finding means for your business.
